Half of the football teams Class 4A and below will check in equipment starting today, and take a day or two off before beginning to prepare for next season. A year ago this time, we had a total of 41 athletes over the 1,000 yard mark, with the top runner at 1826. This season, we have already on reported games on Friday night, and we are missing a lot of them, 42 athletes over that mark, with our leader at 2013.
